It’s such a pleasure to stumble upon an artist I never knew about and find that I dig their work so much. What a treat. Like finding that spare room in a dream about your house. Richard Welling is one of those artists.
He was a Connecticut man his whole live, color blind, and a lover of architecture and place. He lived a long, productive life, and what really struck me about him is his loose-yet-accurate style.
