A lot of folks, like the guy who hired me to draw this piece, do so out of love. What? Love?? Yep. Maybe they met the love of their life there. Or had their first real date. Or their wedding reception. Maybe it was their mom or dad’s favorite tavern, or where they went every week as a college kid. Whatever the reason, places are really special to us. It’s called topophilia (love of place), and I totally get it. That’s how I got started down this nutty rabbit hole.
