A tribute to the haiku-like serenity of that first soft snow of the winter….
The moment doesn’t last, either. It’s only still enough in the early morning, before the wind picks up again. It’s fairly common at night for the wind to die down (allowing perfect, even snowfall), only to begin whipping around in the daylight hours. You have a very brief window to see a moment like this. Except in a painting, say. This one is based on an acrylic that I did last year, which has since sold.
I’m doing a painting each day this month. 30 paintings in 31 days. December’s theme is BIRDS. All kindsa birds. Have any suggestions? I’d like to hear them.
A painting a day, and yes, they’re for sale. And they’re affordable: $99, which includes free first-class shipping. You can order on my Etsy store by clicking here. Check this blog every day (or the Etsy store) to see the new painting du jour. Each one will be 5″ by 7″ on sturdy illustration board.
