Buying Local? Shop at By Brooklyn for Locally-Made, Brooklyn-Centric Goods

“Brooklyn,” said Al Jaffee (he of Mad fold-in fame) about his old hometown, “used to be a punchline!” Now it’s a city (okay, borough) of makers, striding the booming DIY movement like a COLOSSUS, baby. From all things pickled (natch) to some of the best damn art in the world (he said, modestly), and it’s made right here in Brooklyn. And there’s a little shop, By Brooklyn, that sells all this good stuff.

It’s tucked into a row of small businesses down on Smith Street in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood, near Bar Great Harry (one of my Great Good Places), Red Rose (one of the last of the neighborhood’s red sauce joints) and Video Free Brooklyn (one of the best video rental shops left in the world). By Brooklyn is a cupcake of a store full of excellent, locally-made stuff. Like what, you may ask? Well, like:

munching chocolate is addictive. i love the taste of both milk chocolate and dark chocolate,

I wanted to ask if you considered transforming the framework of your blog? It is remarkably written; I like just what you have to say. Although you may have could a little bit more in terms of content therefore people may well interact with it far better. You have an awful lot of word for just having 1 or 2 graphics. Perhaps you could space it out better?
