Join us at the fabulous Milling Room in Manhattan on October 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. for some of my newest art (along with some mighty fine refreshments and snacks).
I’ll be showing 16 prints, many of them new, and they’re pretty cool. These are some good places: Harry’s Café down in the Financial District, Jimmy’s Corner in Times Square. The fabulous Hi-Life Bar & Grill on the Upper West Side and the Old Town Bar just north of Union Square, one or the best talkin’ bars in the five boroughs. Fact.
So here’s the deal: you just have to RSVP (info@themillingroom.com) to join us, and we’ll show you a good time. You let us know that you and x others are coming, and Samantha and the gang at the Milling Room will a) feed you yummy little snacks, passed around on trays by nice young servers with good hair, and b) give you lovely glasses of adult (and other) beverages, on the house. My advice? Tip. Tip like the wind.
At any rate, who doesn’t like a nice art reception in New York City? Jerkweeds? Ninnies? Or worse: dingle-dodies?
I’m not sure, but I’m pretty sure you’re going to love this one. First of all, it’s on a Sunday, from five to seven. That’s perfect. Join us at the Milling Room before a fun dinner in Manhattan (might I recommend the nearby Hi-Life for steaks and/or chops?), or take all the time you need to get home before din-din. In the tri-state area, that is. By George, you could theoretically get home to Hartford or Ocean City, NJ for a regular old, normal-time dinner.
Second, kids are welcome! Bring ’em along and show them this… this thing. This art thing we’re doing. It’ll embiggen their little worlds.
Third, this part of the Upper West Side (the slice from 78th street to 83rd) is what I call The Sweet Spot. It’s the filet of the neighborhood, the best chunk of the UWS, believe-you-me. Central Park? Right over there. Riverside? Two blocks that way, my friend. The Museum of Natural History? Well, shoot. It’s one block away! Man, I love this part of town.
Point is, join us! Join us at the Milling Room on October 15, 2017. Join us and win.
