Thursday the 17th is the opening reception for my Great Good Places of New Orleans show at Preservation Hall, and I’ll be sharing the venue with Emilie Rhys, whose dad Noel Rockmore painted many, many portraits of past Pres Hall musicians, some of which still hang there today.
